To adjust the temperature on the BRISTAN TS4753ECP Thermostatic Mixing Valve, please follow these steps:
1. Turn on the valve and set it to the maximum temperature.
2. Remove the xxxx insert from the valve. Use a narrow bladed screwdriver to insert through the retaining xxxx and locate it into the groove of the adjusting xxxx .
3. Turn the adjusting xxxx clockwise for a cooler temperature or anti-clockwise for a hotter temperature.
4. Wait for a few minutes after adjusting for the temperature to stabilize. Use a thermometer to measure the outlet temperature.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you reach the desired temperature.
6. Replace the xxxx insert.
Please note that the valve is pre-set to a maximum outlet temperature of 43°C. It can be adjusted to have a maximum temperature between 30°C - 55°C. However, it is important to comply with the TMV scheme, and the valve cannot have a maximum outlet temperature of 44°C as it will no longer comply with the scheme.
For more detailed instructions and information, please refer to the TMV manual supplied with the valve.
