To connect the BYGD PVSC Solar Charge Controller to your solar panel and battery, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the controller is installed in a well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
2. Select the correct screws to fix the controller on the wall or other platforms. Use M4 screws with a diameter of less than 10mm.
3. Reserve enough space between the wall and the controller for cooling and cable connection.
4. Connect the battery to the correct pole of the controller. Make sure to xxxx the battery cable to the controller in advance to avoid short-circuiting. Then, connect the battery pole. The LCD screen should display the battery voltage and other technical data. If the LCD screen does not display, check for any faults.
5. Connect the solar panel to the controller. Ensure that the solar panel cable is connected correctly and firmly. If the connection is successful and there is sufficient sunlight, the LCD will display the sun's graphic and an arrow from the sun to the battery.
6. For the load connection, use multiple strands of copper wire to connect firmly to the terminal. Avoid loose power connections and wire corrosion, as they can cause resistance connections, melt wire insulation, and even lead to a fire. The load should be connected to the controller using the appropriate load terminals.
Please refer to the user manual for further details and illustrations on the installation process.
