To replace the batteries in the LIFE GEAR 41-3942 Dorcy Carabiner Flashlight, please follow these steps:
1. Twist off the top of the flashlight to access the battery compartment.
2. Gently remove the small black round rubber piece with a silver dot in the middle.
3. Slide out the four tiny button batteries that are wrapped together.
4. Take note of the spring that has a narrow and wide side. Insert the spring with the wide side in first into the battery compartment.
5. Insert the four replacement batteries, making sure they are all facing the same direction. Place them with the flat side toward the spring.
6. Ensure that the black round rubber piece has the silver dot protruding on one end. This side should make contact with the batteries, while the other side should make contact with the bulb piece.
7. Push in the small black round rubber piece, making sure it lines up flush or slightly above the metal opening. If the rubber piece is too far below the metal opening, it may not connect properly.
8. Remove the round white piece of paper from the inside of the top.
9. Twist on the top to securely reassemble the flashlight.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully replace the batteries in your LIFE GEAR 41-3942 Dorcy Carabiner Flashlight.
