No, you should not install the TOSHIBA ML-EM45PIT-SS Countertop Microwave Oven over a range cooktop or any other heat-producing appliance. The manual specifically states that doing so can damage the oven and void the warranty. It is important to select a level surface with enough open space for the intake and/or outlet vents. Additionally, the manual recommends leaving a minimum clearance of 3.0 inches on each side, 3.0 inches on top, and 1.0 inch in the rear. Blocking the intake and/or outlet openings can also damage the oven.
