To create a wireless connection between the smoke alarm and your smartphone or tablet, follow these steps:
1. Download the Connected at Home/Smartlife app from the Google or Android Play Store on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Ensure that the battery is installed and the device has been tested.
3. Enter the Wi-fi pairing mode by long-pressing the [TEST/HUSH] button on the smoke alarm until the red LED starts flashing consecutively. The LED will flash for 1 minute, indicating that the alarm is in Wi-fi pairing mode.
4. Open the Connected at Home/Smartlife app on your smartphone or tablet.
5. Follow the instructions provided in the app to add your device(s) to the app.
If the Wi-Fi pairing fails, repeat the above steps to make a wireless connection.
