To calibrate the Labnet 311DS Digital Shaking Incubator, follow these steps:
1. Allow the chamber temperature to stabilize at the setpoint for several hours.
2. Suspend a certified reference thermometer in the chamber, making sure it is not touching any surface.
3. Compare the temperature displayed on the unit's controller with the reference thermometer.
4. If there is an unacceptable difference, put the controller into calibration mode by pressing both the Up and Down arrows simultaneously until the two outside decimal points begin to flash.
5. While the decimal points are flashing, use the Up and Down arrows to adjust the display to match the temperature shown on the reference thermometer.
6. Allow the shaking incubator to stabilize again, and recalibrate if necessary.
Note: It is recommended to use certified reference thermometers for accurate calibration.
