To install the SR Smith 4-Step Standard Plus Commercial Ladder with Stainless Steel, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Determine the appropriate location for the ladder. Ensure that there is enough space for the ladder and that it is positioned securely.
2. If you haven't already done so, purchase the recommended anchors (AS-200B for 1.50" tubing or AS-100B for 1.90" tubing) and escutcheons (EP-150 for 1.50" tubing or EP-100F for 1.90" tubing) separately.
3. Attach the ladder to the pool deck or surface using the recommended anchors. Follow the anchor installation instructions provided with the anchors.
4. If desired, apply powder coating or SealedSteel Salt Friendly options to the ladder. This step is optional but can enhance the ladder's durability and appearance.
5. Attach the plastic or stainless steel treads (LTDF-106 for plastic treads or LTDF-103 for stainless steel treads) to the ladder. Ensure that they are securely fastened.
6. If using stainless steel treads, make sure to align the treads properly with the ladder's bends, which have a 4" radius.
7. Install the recommended escutcheons (EP-150 for 1.50" tubing or EP-100F for 1.90" tubing) to cover the anchor and provide a finished look.
8. Double-check that all components are securely attached and tightened.
9. Test the ladder's stability and ensure that it can support the intended weight.
