To verify the integrity of the downloaded installation file (.exe) for Schneider Electric V151, follow these steps:
1. Launch any SHA256 generator tool, such as http://onlinemd5.com.
2. Click on "Choose a File" and browse to the ControlExpert_V151_HF012 installation file (.exe) that you downloaded.
3. Select SHA256 as the checksum type.
4. The SHA256 generator tool will automatically run the file through cryptographic functions and generate a SHA256 value.
5. Copy the original SHA256 checksum value provided in the Checksum List section of the installation guide.
6. Paste the copied checksum value in the appropriate field of the SHA256 generator tool.
7. The tool will compare the generated checksum with the original checksum and display the result as a green check or a red cross.
8. If the checksums match, it indicates that the installation file's integrity is verified, and you can proceed with the installation.
9. If the checksums do not match, it is recommended to download the ControlExpert_V151_HF012 installation file (.exe) again and repeat the verification procedure until both checksum values match.
