To properly clean and maintain the FOAMit J2.5BKSR 2.5 and 5 Gallon Chemical Jug, follow these steps:
1. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating or servicing the jug.
2. Flush the jug with fresh water when switching from an alkaline to an acid or an acid to alkaline solution. This helps prevent chemical reactions and contamination.
3. Do not exceed a fluid temperature of 100˚F (37˚C). Higher temperatures may cause damage to the jug.
4. Never use the jug with hydrocarbons or flammable products. This can pose a safety risk.
5. After each use, thoroughly clean the jug with water and a mild detergent. Rinse it well to remove any residue.
