To connect the BANNER WLA-2 LED Area Light to a power supply, you will need to follow the wiring diagram provided in the user guide. The light has a 4-pin M12 male quick-disconnect connector. Here is how you can connect it:
1. Identify the wire colors and their corresponding connections:
- Brown wire: 12 V DC to 30 V DC
- Blue wire: DC common
- Black wire: Not used
- White wire: Not used
2. For High/Low/Off models:
- Connect the brown wire to the positive terminal of the power supply (12 V DC to 30 V DC).
- Connect the blue wire to the DC common or negative terminal of the power supply.
- For 50% maximum intensity, connect the black wire to the DC common or leave it floating. For maximum intensity, leave the black wire floating or connected to the DC common.
3. For PWM models:
- Connect the brown wire to the positive terminal of the power supply (12 V DC to 30 V DC).
- Connect the blue wire to the DC common or negative terminal of the power supply.
- For maximum intensity, leave the black wire floating or connected to the DC common. Connecting it to 12 V DC to 30 V DC will cause the LEDs to shut off.
Please ensure that you use a suitable Class 2 power supply (UL) or SELV power supply (CE) within the specified voltage range. It is important to follow local and national electrical codes and regulations when making electrical connections.
