The Dayliff SF Water Softener should be regenerated at least once a week to ensure that hard water does not flow into the pipes and water-using appliances. However, the regeneration frequency can be adjusted based on water consumption and the specific needs of your application. It is recommended to set the timer to regenerate the softener automatically at night, preferably between 1 am and 3 am when water consumption is typically low. If water consumption is not continuous or if there is a power outage, it is important to manually regenerate the softener to ensure a continuous supply of soft water.
