To install the guide bar and chain on the FIELDMANN FZP 2005-E Electric Chain Saw, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the chain saw is disconnected from the power grid.
2. Disengage the safety brake lever by pulling it towards the top handle.
3. Loosen the sprocket cover fastening xxxx and remove the sprocket cover.
4. Place the chain on the chain drive sprocket and then put the guide bar onto the guide bolt and place the chain into the guiding groove.
5. Make sure that the chain is installed correctly, with the direction corresponding to the arrow markings on the chain and guide bar.
6. Put on the sprocket cover and fasten it using the sprocket cover fastening xxxx . Do not fully tighten the xxxx at this point.
7. Tension the chain using the tensioning wheel. To do this, hold down the sprocket cover fastening xxxx while tensioning the chain.
8. The chain is correctly tensioned if it is possible to lift the chain off the guide bar and its height in the horizontal position in the middle of the guide bar is 3 to 4 mm.
9. Once the chain is properly tensioned, tighten the sprocket cover fastening xxxx securely.
