After using the barbeque, it is important to clean it properly to maintain its performance and longevity. Here are the steps to clean the Everdure CUBE 360 Portable Charcoal barbeque:
1. External Cleaning: Before cleaning the exterior, ensure that the barbeque has cooled down and is safe to touch. You can use a mild household detergent or cleaner and a clean cloth to clean the painted and plastic surfaces. Avoid using scourers or harsh detergents. Test the cleaner on a small section of the appliance first. Do not use paint thinners or similar solvents for cleaning, and never pour cold water over hot surfaces. Dry the surface afterwards.
2. Internal Cleaning: Once the barbeque has cooled down, you can clean the internal parts. The inside of the charcoal chamber can be cleaned using water, mild detergent, and a sponge or mild scouring pad. For hard-to-clean areas, you can use a little baking soda on a wet sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Remove all ash and any leftover fuel after every cook. Take care to ensure that the ash is fully extinguished and cold before disposal. Clean any ash or oil that may have dropped into the barbeque chassis.
3. Cleaning the Grill: The cooking surface of the barbeque is a chromed open grill. After use, allow the grill to cool and then clean it. You can remove scraps from the grill with a scraper and scrape off excess fat and meat scraps from the inside of the barbeque by removing the grill. Some surfaces may still be hot, so use protective gloves.
4. Storage: When the barbeque is not in use, store it in a dry location. If stored outdoors, it should be under cover and protected from the weather. Ensure that the cooking surface is clean before storing it away.
