To mount the control panel, you will need to use the provided hardware. The panel has four mounting xxxx holes where you can attach the screws. Make sure to secure the panel tightly to the desired location.
To connect the wires, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that you have all the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) available.
2. Turn off and disconnect all electrical items at the source before proceeding with the installation.
3. If you are unsure about the installation process or lack the necessary skills, it is recommended to consult a professional.
4. Once you have placed your sensors according to the provided diagram, you can begin connecting the wire extension. The wire extension has three connectors on the split pigtail, corresponding to the tanks you are measuring.
5. Connect the wire extension to one of the three connectors on the split pigtail, matching the color of the wire to the corresponding tank. For example, the grey wire goes to the grey water tank, the brown wire goes to the black water tank, and the blue wire goes to the fresh water tank.
6. After connecting the wire extension to the split pigtail, connect the split pigtail to the control panel. Ensure that the connectors snap into place securely.
7. Now, you have the remaining wires to connect. Here is a breakdown of their functions:
- RED: Main wire for power
- WHITE: Main wire for ground
- LIGHT GRAY: Wire for power to the tank heating pad
- PURPLE: Wire for power to the water pump
- ORANGE: Wire for the lead to the LPG tank
- BLUE: Wire for the lead to the fresh water tank
- BROWN: Wire for the lead to the holding tank
- BLACK: Wire for the lead to the grey water tank
- BLUE AND WHITE: Unused
8. Connect the control panel wires to the corresponding wires in their designated locations. Ensure that all connections are complete by using a wire nut and secure them further by taping with electrical tape. It is important to leave no bare wires exposed.
