To connect the LDT 000102 Connection Cable to your digital model railway, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your model railway is switched off by disconnecting the transformers from AC-current.
2. The connection cable consists of a 0.5 meter twisted bus cable with two original s88 pin socket connectors. At one socket, a pin-pin plug is inserted.
3. If you want to use the connection cable for connecting the feedback module RM-88-N, RM-88-N-O, or RM-GB-8-N, you need to remove the pin-pin plug. Attach one socket onto the 6-poles pin bar of the feedback module, ensuring that the single white wire corresponds with the white marking at the pin bar. Pay attention to the "OUT" and "IN" markings on the pin bar according to the operation instruction of the feedback module.
4. Attach the second pin-socket of the bus cable directly to the digital central unit or interface or to another feedback module within the feedback line.
5. If you want to connect two Märklin or Viessmann feedback modules together, remove the pin-plug first. Insert the pin-socket connectors of the connection cable into the feedback modules, ensuring the cable is directed to the bottom. The white single wire should be located in the direction towards the middle of the feedback module.
6. If you want to extend the s88 bus-connection of the former LDT feedback module RM-DEC-88(-O) or RM-GB-8 by 0.5m, leave the pin-pin plug bar inserted at the socket connector. Ensure that the cable colors of the single wires correspond exactly.
Please refer to the provided manual for visual diagrams and illustrations of the connection process.
Note: The LDT 000102 Connection Cable is designed for indoor use only. Disregarding the operating instructions may void the warranty, and LDT will not be liable for any damages caused by improper use or installation.
