To configure the AVCOMM 8028GX8-AC2 Industrial 28G L2+-L3 Rackmount Managed Ethernet Switch using the web-based management interface, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the device is properly connected in the network and that each PC in the network can access the router through a web browser (such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox).
2. Open a web browser and type the default IP address of the device (http://192.168.10.1/) in the address bar.
3. Enter the default username and password (admin) in the login screen and click "Login". Note that you may be required to change your password at the first login.
4. Once logged in, the welcome page of the web-based management interface will appear. On the left side, you will find a list of software features, and on the right side, you will see available settings.
5. To link with the device, make sure that the IP address of your PC is located in the same subnet (192.168.10.x).
6. From the web-based management interface, you can configure various settings such as VLANs, port settings, security features, and more. Refer to the User Manual for detailed instructions on each feature and setting.
