To mount the AVCOMM 8022GX6 Industrial Ethernet Switch on a DIN Rail, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a DIN Rail that complies with the DIN EN50022 standard. Using the wrong DIN Rail may result in unsafe installation.
2. Insert the upper end of the DIN Rail clip into the back of the DIN Rail track from its upper side.
3. Lightly push the bottom of the DIN Rail clip into the track until it is securely in place.
4. Make sure the switch is powered off before proceeding.
5. Connect the positive and negative wires from your power supply to the V+ and V- contacts on the terminal block connector.
6. Tighten the wire-clamp screws to secure the wires in place.
7. Connect the power wires to a suitable DC Switching type power supply. The input DC voltage should be in the range of 10VDC to 60VDC.
8. For grounding purposes, establish a direct connection between the ground xxxx on the switch and the grounding surface before connecting any devices.
