To charge the battery of the PASCO PS-3209 Wireless Weather Sensor with GPS, follow these steps:
1. Connect the micro USB port on the back of the sensor to any standard USB charger.
2. Gently pull the tab of the flexible cover to the right to access the micro USB port.
3. Plug the USB-to-Micro-USB cable into the micro USB port on the sensor.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB charger or a powered USB hub connected to a computer.
5. The Battery Status LED on the sensor will turn solid yellow, indicating that the battery is charging.
6. Once the battery is fully charged, the Battery Status LED will change to solid green.
It is important to note that the sensor has a rechargeable battery pack, and the battery life between charges can range from two days to more than a week, depending on active sensors and sample rate. If the Battery Status LED blinks red, it indicates low power, and the sensor should be connected to a USB charger or a USB port for charging.
