To clean the Lauben 1500AT Low Sugar Rice Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged and has cooled down completely.
2. Gently wash the inner aluminum pot, stainless steel steamer, and aluminum lid with hot water, detergent, and a sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners, abrasive sponges, or wire brushes.
3. If food sticks to the bottom of the inner pot, allow the pot to soak and then wipe it clean.
4. Clean the central area, sealing cover, and exterior of the rice cooker with a wet cloth.
5. If there is water on the electric heating plate, wipe it dry with a cloth. If there is burnt rice, lightly polish it off with steel wool or sandpaper.
Note: Do not immerse the rice cooker in water or wash it under the tap. Make sure the device is unplugged and has cooled down before cleaning to prevent burns.
