To select the appropriate charging current for your ABSAAR S-M Battery Charger, you need to refer to the current selector switch on the charger. If your charger does not have a current selector switch, it will automatically detect the required battery charging current.
If your charger has an A/M switch (Automobile/Motorbike), you can choose the appropriate position based on the battery capacity. The Motorbike position supplies a lower charging current for batteries with a capacity between 5 and 15 Ah.
If your charger has an N/E switch (Normal/Express Charge), you can choose the appropriate position based on the battery capacity. The Normal position charges the battery with a lower charging current, resulting in a longer charging time. This position is intended for batteries with very low capacities and helps extend the battery life. The Express position supplies a charging current up to the maximum current.
It is important to note that you should always check the technical specifications of your battery or consult your battery or vehicle manufacturer to ensure you are using the correct charging current for your battery. Using an unsuitable charging current may damage the battery.
