To install the Chicago Pneumatic FR12BSP Air Filter, please follow the steps below:
1. Before installation, ensure that the air lines are cleaned to prevent dirt particles from causing malfunctions.
2. Install filters, regulators, and lubricators in a vertical position only.
3. Adhere to the flow direction marked on each module. Incorrect installation and flow direction can be hazardous.
4. Shut off the air supply and depressurize the system before installing the unit.
5. Compare the technical data provided in the manual with the actual operating conditions to ensure safe operation within the stated ranges of temperature and pressure.
6. The pneumatic system in which the unit is used must comply with ISO 4414, "Pneumatic fluid power – General rules and safety requirements for systems and their components."
7. Ensure that the unit is correctly installed for the direction of air flow as indicated by the arrow symbol on the unit.
8. Avoid contact with solvents and other chemicals that can cause chemical attack and subsequent burst. The unit must not come into contact with acetone, benzol, brake fluid, glycerine, some synthetic oil, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride (and similar solvents), carbon disulphide, methyl alcohol, perchloroethylene, toluene, trichloroethylene, xylene (nitrocellulose, thinner), acetic acid.
9. The bowl and other plastic parts of the unit should only be cleaned with warm water and normal washing-up liquid.
10. Do not modify the unit in any way.
