To install the KICHLER 45876PNLED Bordeaux LED Wall Sconce, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided. Here is a summary of the installation process:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fuse box.
2. Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box using the two supplied mounting strap screws. Adjust the mounting strap to the desired position.
3. Grounding instructions:
- If the mounting strap has a hole and two raised dimples, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground xxxx and thread it into the hole.
- If a cupped washer is provided, attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and a green ground xxxx , and thread it into the mounting strap.
4. If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect it to the outlet box ground wire using a wire connector. Do not connect the ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
5. Make the wire connections according to the chart provided in the manual. Connect the black or red supply wire to the corresponding wire on the fixture, and connect the white supply wire to the other wire on the fixture.
6. Carefully push the fixture against the wall, making sure not to pinch any wires. xxxx in the four fixture mounting screws through the holes in the sides of the canopy.
7. Slide the glass over the backplate and through the crossbar, with the open end of the glass facing the wall. Rest the glass onto/against the bottom trim.
8. Place the top cover onto/against the top of the glass, with the face facing the wall. Align the hole of the top cover with the hole of the backplate and xxxx it into place. Do not over-tighten.
9. Finally, place the xxxx cap over the top xxxx cover and push it into place.
