To install the , please follow the instructions provided in the installation guide. It is important to note that the compass should not be installed near any magnetic masses, as it may affect its accuracy. The safe distances from various magnetic masses are as follows:
- Autopilot Control Head (SC 110): Maintain a safe distance of 2.0 feet (0.5 meters).
- Compass (the vessel's compass): Keep a safe distance of 2.5 feet (0.7 meters).
- High Voltage Power Cable: Maintain a safe distance of 2.5 feet (0.7 meters).
- Steel Pipe: Keep a safe distance of 3.5 feet (1.0 meter).
- Steel Tank: Maintain a safe distance of 3.5 feet (1.0 meter).
- Refrigerator: Keep a safe distance of 5.0 feet (1.5 meters).
- Auxiliary Generator: Maintain a safe distance of 7.0 feet (2.0 meters).
- Engine: Keep a safe distance of 7.0 feet (2.0 meters).
- Power Supply (the vessel's power supply): Maintain a safe distance of 7.0 feet (2.0 meters).
- Hydraulic Power Unit: Keep a safe distance of 13.5 feet (4.0 meters).
