To install the KICHLER 49805WZC Wright 3-Light Weathered Zinc Transitional Chandelier using the loop/chain link mount, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fuse box before starting and during the installation.
2. Pass the fixture wire from each coupling on top of the fixture through one stem for each side and xxxx each stem into each coupling. Apply thread locking compound to all stem threads to prevent accidental rotation of the fixture during cleaning or relamping.
3. Pass the fixture wire through the remaining stems and xxxx the stems together.
4. Thread one small threaded pipe into the end of each small loop.
5. Pass the fixture wire through the first loop and thread the first loop onto the end of each last stem.
6. Attach one chain link to each small loop at the end of each stem. Then attach each chain link to one second small loop.
7. From each stem, pass the fixture wire through each second loop.
8. From each stem, pass the fixture wire through each hole in the canopy. Then pass the threaded pipe at the end of each second loop through each hole in the canopy.
9. On one side, pass the fixture wire from the threaded pipe protruding from inside the canopy through the hole in one lock washer. Thread the lock washer onto the end of the threaded pipe.
10. From the same side as step 9, pass the fixture wire through the hole in the hex nut. Thread the hex nut onto the end of the threaded pipe.
11. On the other side of the fixture, pass the fixture wire through the loop on the end of the safety cable. Slip the loop on the safety cable over the end of the threaded pipe protruding from inside the canopy.
12. From the same side as step 11, pass the fixture wire through the hole in the lock washer. Thread the lock washer onto the end of the threaded pipe protruding from inside the canopy.
13. Pass the fixture wire through the hole in the hex nut. Thread the hex nut onto the end of the threaded pipe.
14. Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting plate and assemble the mounting screws into the threaded holes.
15. Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box.
16. Follow the grounding instructions provided in the manual (see Illus. A or B) to properly ground the fixture.
17. Make wire connections according to the reference chart provided in the manual.
18. Carefully push wire connections back into the outlet box, ensuring all connections remain secure.
19. Slip the canopy over the mounting screws and mounting plate. Be careful not to pinch any wires between the mounting plate and canopy.
20. Thread the lock-up knobs onto the mounting screws and tighten them to secure the canopy to the mounting plate.
21. Insert the recommended bulbs (not supplied).
22. Raise the glass up into the fixture, passing it over the socket.
23. Slip the socket spacer over the socket, with the flat side pressing against the glass.
24. Thread the socket ring onto the socket (curved edge face up) until it presses against the socket ring and supports the glass. Do not over tighten.
