To install the KICHLER 11320BKTLED 13 inch LED Wall Light Textured Black, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox.
2. Clean the fixture using a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh cleaning products that may damage the finish.
3. Read and understand all instructions and illustrations in the manual before proceeding with the assembly and installation of the fixture.
4. If you are not familiar with code requirements, it is recommended to have the fixture installed by a certified electrician.
5. Ensure that all parts are used as indicated in the instructions. Do not substitute any parts, leave parts out, or use any worn or broken parts, as this could invalidate the UL listing, C.S.A. certification, and/or ETL listing of the fixture.
6. The fixture should be connected to a single branch circuit.
7. The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, and 1/4" larger than the fixture housing surface.
8. Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap and assemble the fixture mounting screws into them. Make sure the fixture mounting screws line up with the mounting holes in the fixture.
9. Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.
10. Follow the grounding instructions provided in the manual. Depending on the type of mounting strap provided, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground xxxx and thread it into the hole, or attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and green ground xxxx , and thread it into the mounting strap. If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect it to the outlet box ground wire using a wire connector.
11. Make the wire connections according to the reference chart provided in the manual. Connect the black or red supply wire to the black wire, and the white supply wire to the white wire.
12. Carefully push the fixture to the wall, ensuring that the fixture mounting screws pass through the mounting holes.
13. Attach the fixture to the mounting plate using the lock-up knobs.
14. Make sure all connections remain secure and that wires do not get pinched.
15. Place the glass in the glass frame and attach it to the fixture using the washers and lock-up knobs.
