To connect external battery packs to the TRIPP-LITE SMART1050XL SmartPro XL Expandable Tower UPS System, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the UPS is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Locate the external battery pack connector on the rear panel of the UPS. It is labeled as "External Battery Connector."
3. Take the BP36V27 external battery pack and align the connector on the battery pack with the external battery connector on the UPS.
4. Gently push the battery pack connector into the external battery connector until it is securely connected.
5. Repeat the above steps if you have multiple external battery packs to connect.
6. Once all the external battery packs are connected, you can turn on the UPS and plug it back into the power source.
Please note that the TRIPP-LITE SMART1050XL SmartPro XL Expandable Tower UPS System supports extended runtime with the addition of BP36V27 external battery packs. The battery packs are hot-swappable and user-replaceable, allowing for easy installation and replacement without interrupting the UPS operation.
