To connect the YESWELDER FP-5P-N TIG Foot Pedal Amp Control to your welding power source or welding generator, follow these steps:
1. If the cord of the foot control is equipped with a locking cap, fully insert the cap into the Remote Amperage Control Receptacle on the welding power source or welding generator and rotate clockwise.
2. If the cord of the foot control is equipped with a power connector, align the keyway and insert the plug into the receptacle on the welding power source or welding generator. Rotate the threaded collar fully clockwise to secure the connection.
Please refer to Table 2-1 in the instruction manual for the appropriate conductor size based on the desired cord length.
It is important to consult the welding power source or welding generator's circuit diagram and/or instruction manual for additional operational information when using a Remote Foot Control.
Note: Always ensure that the power source is disconnected from the power supply before inspecting or servicing the foot control. Allow the unit to cool before performing any maintenance tasks.
