To install the BLAUBERG Omega Axial Extract Fan, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the unit from the power supply before starting any installation work.
2. Only qualified electricians with a work permit for electrical units up to 1000 V are allowed for installation. Read the user's manual carefully before beginning the installation.
3. Check the unit for any visible damage to the impeller, casing, and grille before starting the installation. Make sure the casing internals are free of any foreign objects that can damage the impeller blades.
4. While mounting the unit, avoid compressing the casing. Deformation of the casing may result in motor jam and excessive noise.
5. Follow all local and national construction, electrical, and technical norms and standards when installing and operating the unit.
6. The fan can be mounted to the ceiling or onto a wall with air extraction into a ventilation shaft or a matching diameter round air duct.
7. Ensure that the fan is securely mounted and properly connected to the air ducts.
8. For electric connection, refer to the provided connection diagrams in the user's manual. Make sure to follow the correct terminal key for the specific model.
9. For models with a timer, use the plastic screwdriver provided to adjust the fan activation delay time and deactivation delay time.
10. After installation, make sure the intake and extract vents are not closed or blocked to ensure efficient airflow.
