To set the air pressure for the TOP GUN Spitfire Cut 42m Plasma, follow these steps:
1. Connect the compressed air supply to the filter/regulator inlet on the machine.
2. Check the air pressure using the outlet pressure gauge on the air pressure regulator.
3. If the air pressure is not within the recommended range of 0.45 to 0.5 MPa (65-75 psi), adjust it using the air pressure regulator dial.
4. To adjust the air pressure, pull up the pressure regulator dial to unlock it.
5. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the pressure or counterclockwise to decrease the pressure.
6. Once the desired pressure is set, push the dial down to lock it into place.
7. Trigger the air flow using the "set" function on the compressed air testing/setting switch to check the air pressure again.
8. If necessary, make further adjustments to the air pressure until it is within the recommended range.
Note: It is important to ensure that the air pressure is set correctly as an incorrect air pressure can result in poor cut quality, lack of cutting power, damage to the plasma torch and consumables, and potential damage to the power source.
