To install the Uolfin 5069580 7.87-in W 1-Light Depth Gold with White Fabric Vintage Wall, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power is turned off. Go to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home and place the main power switch in the "OFF" position. Also, make sure the wall switch is in the "OFF" position.
2. Prepare the necessary tools, including a screwdriver, wire connectors, and electrical tape (not included).
3. Carefully unpack the fixture and ensure that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the provided illustration.
4. Unscrew the xxxx nuts (F) from the back plate (E) and set them aside for later installation.
5. Secure the mounting plate (D) to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws (A).
6. Make the wire connections according to the provided wire connection chart. Ensure that the ground wire is connected to the bare copper wire and never connect other wires to ground wires. Twist the wires together with plastic wire connectors and wrap each connector with electrical tape. Tuck all wires into the outlet box.
7. Align the holes in the back plate (E) with the pre-assembled mounting screws and attach the back plate using the previously removed xxxx nuts (F). Hand tighten until snug. If the back plate is not snug against the wall, adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled mounting screws on the mounting plate assembly (D) by unscrewing the pre-assembled hex nuts and then screwing the pre-assembled mounting screws in or out of the mounting plate until the desired secure length is achieved. Tighten the pre-assembled hex nuts and proceed to the next step.
8. Fix the cloth shade (H) to the socket (G) with the socket ring (I). Install bulbs (not included) according to the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.
9. Double-check that everything is installed properly before turning on the light.
