1. Sample Preparation:
- Collect whole blood samples or mammalian cell suspensions.
- Transfer 100 μL to 1000 μL of the sample into a microcentrifuge tube.
2. Lysis and Capture:
- Add the appropriate volume of lysis buffer to the sample.
- Mix thoroughly by vortexing or pipetting up and down.
- Incubate the sample at room temperature for a specified time (mentioned in the manual) to allow lysis and binding of DNA to the magnetic beads.
3. Magnetic Collection and Washing:
- Place the tube on a magnetic rack for a few minutes until the beads are attracted to the magnet.
