To install the Eterna EMLED3M LED Emergency Bulkheads, follow these steps:
1. Choose the desired location for installation, ensuring it is suitable for internal or external use.
2. Ensure the power supply is switched off before starting the installation process.
3. If using the BULKFRAME for a semi-recessed installation, cut a hole in the wall or ceiling with dimensions of 350mm x 117mm.
4. Connect the mains supply to the bulkhead using the 20mm gland entries provided.
5. Use the hinged gear tray and push-fit terminal block to make the electrical connections. This allows for quicker and easier installation and maintenance.
6. Attach the bulkhead securely to the wall or ceiling using the appropriate fixings.
7. If required, apply the self-adhesive legend pack included with a combination of symbols to designate multiple exit paths.
8. For additional legend options, the ISOLGDSET (ISO 7010 format) and LGDSET (signs directive format) legend sets are available. These can be used as additional legend sets or as individual stickers for walls and doors.
9. The bulkhead has a minimum 3-hour functionality in emergency mode, providing bright white light with high-output LEDs.
10. The replacement battery for the bulkhead is code EB1.
11. The bulkhead comes with a 5-year warranty for the fitting and a 1-year warranty for the battery.
