To install the ecosmart XL900 Bio Ethanol Burner in your fireplace, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the recess and surroundings are made of fire-resistant materials.
2. Keep a safety distance of at least 1000mm (1 meter) to flammable materials around the flame.
3. Maintain an open space above the burner of minimum 400mm (recommended 500mm).
4. If you plan to install a television above the burner, follow the instructions provided in the manual for different installation options.
- Option 1: Install the burner underneath a TV with a small shelf to protect the TV from direct heat.
- Option 2: Install the burner underneath a TV with a recess into the wall to protect the TV from direct heat.
- Option 3: Install the burner underneath a TV without any protection, but with extra safety distance (consult the TV manufacturer).
- Option 4: Never install the burner directly underneath a TV without any protection.
5. If using a built-in profile (available for specific burner models), ensure that the opening underneath the profile is at least 5mm smaller than the size of the profile plate. Ideally, the built-in profile should be milled into the top panel of your design for a seamless and flush finish. Use heat-resistant adhesive if desired. Maintain enough distance around the built-in profile to prevent heat damage to the surroundings.
