To install the Danfoss AK-RC 204B Temperature Controller for Walk-in Coolers and Freezers, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to consult local regulations.
2. Disconnect the power supply before doing any wiring.
3. The probes and their cables should never be installed in the same conduit as power, control, or power supply cables.
4. For disconnection, the power supply circuit must be equipped with a switch of at least 2 A, 230 V, located near the device. The power supply cable should be H05VV-F or NYM 1x16/3 with a suitable section (depending on local standards, but never less than 2.5 mm2).
5. Cables for relay or contactor outputs should have a section of 2.5 mm2 and allow working temperatures equal to or over 70 °C. They should be installed with as few bends as possible.
6. Keep the 120/230 V~ wiring clear of any other external elements.
7. The wiring to be done depends on the type of installation. Use the appropriate diagram based on the option selected in the wizard. Check the available options on the diagrams included in the controller's packaging.
8. Make sure to protect the controller from vibrations, water, and corrosive gases. Install it in a place where the ambient temperature does not exceed the value indicated in the technical data.
9. Use only probes supplied by Danfoss to ensure correct operation.
10. Do not spray the unit directly with high-pressure hoses, as this could cause damage.
