To calibrate the Hayward Pool Rx Socket Dosing Pump, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the buffer solution used in calibration matches the indicated value and is not soiled.
2. Dip the probe in the Rx buffer solution at 468mV and wait a few seconds before reading.
3. Push and hold the CAL button for 3 seconds. The value 470 will start blinking on the display.
4. Calibration is done automatically, and the display will stop blinking when finished.
5. If at the end of calibration, the display shows the message "rc," push the CAL button to exit and return to reading.
6. If the "rc" message reappears after the second try, it indicates that the probe is not working correctly and should be changed.
It is important to note that the electrode calibration procedure may require several minutes for a very accurate reading. Always ensure the electrode is properly cleaned and stored according to the instructions provided in the manual.
