To connect the to the SmartLife App, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your mobile phone or tablet is connected to the 2.4GHz wifi signal issued by your router. It should not be connected to a 5GHz signal or a network extender.
2. Download and install the SmartLife App from your app store.
3. Open the SmartLife App and register an account using your email address and password. Accept the terms of use.
4. On the SmartLife App home page, tap the "+" button in the top right corner to add a device.
5. Select "Small Home Appliances" and then choose "Thermostats" from the list.
6. Turn on the MD2 thermostat and long press the power button (SETTING) to enter wifi connection mode. The wifi status symbol on the thermostat will start flashing.
7. In the SmartLife App, confirm the prompt that says "confirm the indicator is rapidly blinking".
8. Wait for the pairing process to complete. The thermostat will appear in the SmartLife App when the pairing is successful, and the wifi status symbol on the thermostat will stop blinking and show a solid connection.
9. Tap the thermostat in the app to start managing it. You can control the thermostat's settings, temperature, and mode through the app.
Note: It may take up to a minute for the thermostat to stop flashing after it appears to have paired successfully in the SmartLife App.
