To enable Smart Call Home for Cisco IMC Supervisor, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Cisco IMC Supervisor user interface.
2. Choose Administration > System.
3. On the System page, click Smart Call Home.
4. Check the Enable Smart Call Home checkbox to enable the feature.
Note: By default, Smart Call Home is disabled.
5. Enter the Contact Email address. Only one contact email can be entered at a time.
6. The Destination URL of the Smart Call Home backend is set by default. It is recommended not to change the default URL.
7. The Proxy Configuration checkbox is selected by default. Smart Call Home uses the proxy details that you have already set. If you need to configure proxy settings, refer to the manual.
8. (Optional) Check the Send Group Inventory Now checkbox to send inventory details of the servers. This can provide additional information for resolving issues.
9. Click Save to save the configuration.
Once Smart Call Home is enabled, it will continuously monitor and diagnose faults on the managed servers. If any issues are identified, it will automatically raise cases with the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for resolution.
For more information on Smart Call Home and its fault codes, refer to the Cisco IMC Supervisor User Guide.
