To install the Uolfin 5106272 Ely 4-Light Antique Gold fixture, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting, make sure to turn off the electricity by going to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home and placing the main power switch and wall switch in the "OFF" position.
2. Ensure that the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and 1/4" larger than the canopy on all sides. Correct any gaps exceeding 3/16" as needed.
3. Check that the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp.
4. Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V, and the maximum wattage for each bulb is Type B, Max 40W.
5. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to avoid damaging the surface.
6. When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool, as bulbs can get hot quickly.
Now, let's proceed with the assembly and installation instructions:
1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and ensure that all parts and accessories are included.
2. Pass the fixture wires through the stem and xxxx the stem onto the top of the sockets assembly.
3. Adjust the arms to an equal angle.
4. Pass the fixture wires through the ring, tube, round plate, and threaded pipe. xxxx the tube onto the stem to secure the ring.
5. xxxx the threaded pipe onto the tube to secure the round plate.
6. Pass the fixture wires through the cover and loop. xxxx the loop onto the round plate to secure the cover.
7. Determine the correct number of links needed for the desired hanging height. Use chain pliers to disconnect and discard any unwanted parts.
8. Attach a quick link to the chain and loop on the top of the cover.
9. Weave the fixture wires through the chain, going in and out of every other link until you reach the top of the chain. Gently pull the wires to ensure they are not stressed.
10. Turn off the power before starting the installation.
11. Remove the collar ring from the collar loop. Attach the single bar to the outlet box with mounting screws, ensuring that the side marked "GND" faces out.
12. Raise the canopy over the collar loop and xxxx the collar ring to measure the proper position. Unscrew the collar ring and remove the canopy.
13. Pass the chain through the collar ring and then through the canopy.
14. Open the quick link, attach it to the collar loop, and close it. Pass the fixture wires through the collar loop to the top of the pre-assembled threaded xxxx , ensuring they are not stressed.
15. If needed, shorten the length of the fixture wires, leaving at least 6" above the single bar.
16. Make wire connections by twisting the wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined. Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Ensure no wire strands are exposed and tuck all wires into the outlet box.
17. Raise the canopy to the ceiling and secure it in place by tightening the collar ring onto the collar loop.
18. Install bulbs (not included) according to the maximum wattage recommended.
19. Check that everything is properly installed before turning on the light.
