To clean the Bestron DF402CO Deep XL Oil Fryer, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the plug from the wall socket and switch off the fryer by turning the On/Off - temperature control dial fully to the left.
2. Allow the fryer to cool down completely.
3. Remove the lid and the baskets.
4. Remove the inner pan and pour the oil or liquid fat into a receptacle. You can hand in the used oil or liquid fat to your municipality for recycling.
5. Use absorbent paper kitchen towel to remove any remaining oil from the pan.
6. Clean the inside of the pan and baskets with hot water and a little washing-up liquid. Do not use scourers. Dry everything thoroughly.
7. Clean the housing of the fryer with a damp cloth, if necessary with a few drops of washing-up liquid. After cleaning, dry the housing thoroughly.
8. Reassemble the fryer by placing the inner pan, baskets, and lid back in place.
9. Store the power cord in the compartment at the back of the fryer.
10. Keep the fryer in a dry place until the next use.
Note: Do not use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects to clean the fryer. Never immerse the heating element unit in water or another liquid and never place it under flowing water.
