To install the Retrotouch Crystal+Smart Wifi Smart Switches, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power supply is switched OFF at the mains before commencing any electrical work. This can be done by switching off the consumer unit or removing the appropriate fuse.
2. Read the safety instructions and familiarize yourself with the relevant sections of the building regulations code and the latest edition of IEE regulations (BS 7671).
3. If you are replacing an existing product, remove the existing unit from its location and disconnect the wiring.
4. Connect the wires as shown in the diagrams provided in the instruction manual. Make sure that terminals are properly tightened and no bare wires are visible. Avoid trapping any wires when pushing the switch back into the backbox.
5. Attach the glass panel by aligning it over the switch and firmly pushing it to click into place.
6. Power on the switch and wait for 2 minutes for it to power up and set. Then, you can activate the switch by touching the panel.
Please note that it is important to have the switches installed by a qualified electrician for safety reasons.
