To install the VENETA 65101-10234-I Cordless Honeycomb Blind Models, you will need the following tools: measuring tape, drill with a 2mm bit, Phillips bit or screwdriver, pencil, and knife. The required hardware is included in the box.
If you are installing the blind inside the window frame, measure 75mm in from each end of the top window frame and mark with a pencil. These marks will be the center of the outer brackets. Place the brackets in position 5mm back from the front of the window opening and mark where the screws will go. It is recommended to drill pilot holes using a 2mm bit. Fix the brackets into position using 2 long screws for each bracket into the first two holes closest to the front of the bracket. If more brackets are supplied, space them evenly between the first two brackets.
If you are installing the blind outside the window frame, measure 75mm in from the top left and top right of where the blind will sit (normally the edge of the architrave) and mark where the screws will go. It is recommended to use a spirit level to align the brackets if not installing on the architrave. Drill pilot holes using a 2mm bit and fix the brackets into position using 2 long screws for each bracket. If more brackets are supplied, space them evenly between the first two brackets.
To install the blind, position the top front lip of the blind under the top front lip of the brackets. Push the blind up at the back to click into position.
To attach the handle, position it at an angle so that it is hooked to the rail. Then push it to snap into place, there will be a "Click" sound. Check if the handle's upper and lower hooks firmly hook to the rail.
