To install the BLAUBERG AXIAL FAN, follow these steps:
1. Before starting installation, check the unit for any visible damage to the impeller, casing, and grille. Make sure the casing internals are free of any foreign objects that can damage the impeller blades.
2. Determine whether you will be wall mounting or ceiling mounting the fan. The fan can be used to discharge air directly outside through a round duct or through a duct system.
3. If installing the fan with direct air discharge outside through the wall, be sure to install a ventilation grille with louvre shutters or a ventilation hood on the outside to prevent rainfall, snow, leaves, branches, etc. from entering the duct. Insulate the space between the hole in the wall and the duct to prevent condensate formation.
4. If installing the fan through a duct system, select the duct cross section in accordance with the fan size. The duct system should not exceed 5 meters and have more than two bends.
5. Mount the fan on the wall or ceiling using the four dowels and screws included in the delivery set. If the walls are made of a material other than concrete or brick, use appropriate fasteners for that material.
6. Ensure that the fan is securely mounted and avoid compressing the casing, as this can result in motor jam and excessive noise.
7. If the fan is equipped with a non-return valve, it is prohibited to operate the fan without the valve.
8. Follow the fan wiring diagrams provided in the user manual to connect the fan to the power supply. Only qualified electricians with a work permit for electrical units up to 1000 V are allowed for installation.
9. After installation, pass the user manual to the end user for reading.
