To install the STANLEY VF80 Vent Fan, please follow these steps:
1. Begin by gathering all the necessary parts and tools listed in the parts list provided with the product.
2. Locate a suitable location for the vent fan installation. Ensure that the area is clear of any obstructions and has proper ventilation.
3. Attach the volute (part number 06952) to the motor assembly (part number 21445) using the provided screws and nuts (part numbers 06638 and 00429).
4. Install the blower wheel (part number 33458) onto the motor shaft, ensuring it is securely attached.
5. Attach the inlet screen (part number 14607) to the volute using the tapping screws (part number 00152).
6. Connect the motor mount bridge (part number 06954) to the volute using the provided screws and nuts.
7. Install the key (part number 06964) onto the motor shaft, ensuring it is properly aligned.
8. Attach the two 90° adapters (part number 06960) to the inlet ring (part number 33459) using the hex nipples (part number 03263).
9. Connect the inlet ring to the volute using the provided tapping screws.
10. Install the coupler set (part number 03971) onto the motor shaft, ensuring it is securely attached.
11. Once all the components are properly installed, position the vent fan in the desired location and secure it using appropriate mounting hardware.
12. Finally, connect the necessary electrical wiring according to the local electrical codes and regulations.
