To install the STANLEY GR29 Underwater Grinder, follow these steps:
1. Begin by assembling the grinder components. Refer to the GR29 Parts Illustration - Detail E in the installation guide for a visual reference of the parts.
2. Start with the hub nut (P/N 16495) and jam nut (P/N 13779). These nuts secure the grinder components together. Make sure they are tightened properly.
3. Attach the drive flange (P/N 28913) to the hub nut using the set xxxx (P/N 00599). This will secure the drive flange in place.
4. Install the wheel guard (P/N 11937 or P/N 08322) onto the grinder. Use the cap screws (P/N 00230) and washers (P/N 00231) to secure the wheel guard in place.
5. Attach the assist handle bracket (P/N 13796) to the grinder. This will provide additional support and stability during operation.
6. Install the tool name tag (P/N 73684) onto the grinder for identification purposes.
7. Connect the female coupler (P/N 03972) and male coupler (P/N 03973) to the grinder. These couplers allow for easy connection to the power source.
8. Attach the adapter (P/N 00936) to the grinder. This adapter allows for compatibility with different accessories or tools.
9. Secure the nylock nut (P/N 07724) onto the grinder.
10. Install the trigger guard (P/N 12285) for added safety.
11. Attach the assist handle (P/N 08130) to the grinder. This handle provides a comfortable grip during operation.
12. Install the stud (P/N 12786) onto the grinder.
13. Secure the clamp xxxx (P/N 12290) onto the grinder.
14. Install the roll pin (P/N 00285) onto the grinder.
15. Attach the thumb plate (P/N 12291) to the grinder.
16. Install the tool information tag (P/N 74818) for reference.
17. Attach the importer decal (P/N 88345), composite safety decal (P/N 88347), circuit type "C" decal (P/N 11206), circuit type "E" decal (P/N 12535), GPM decal (P/N 03788), grinding wheel safety decal (P/N 08688), and warning decal (P/N 10396) as instructed in the installation guide.
18. If necessary, refer to the GR29 Motor Parts Illustration - Detail F for any motor-related components.
19. Finally, refer to the GR29 Trigger & Reversing Spool Parts Illustration - Detail G for any trigger and reversing spool components.
