To install the integrated panel on the UHFZ124 24 inch Convertible Freezer, follow these steps:

1. Cut the panels to the dimensions listed in the diagram provided in the manual.

2. Optional: Stain or finish the panel to your desired stain or color, following the manufacturer's instructions.

3. Optional: Install handles and hardware on the panel.

4. Fully open the door/drawer of the freezer.

5. Starting at the corner, pull the gasket away from the door/drawer and continue to pull it free from the gasket channel.

6. Lay the gasket down on a flat surface.

7. Partially loosen the 3 screws securing the top hinge to the cabinet.

8. Align the panel with the outside edge (opposite the hinge) and position it high enough to align with the highest point in the door/drawer.

9. Insert the panel underneath the top hinge and apply upward pressure while bringing the lower portion of the panel flush to the door inside the lower hinge. The panel should fit snugly.

10. Align the door with the cabinet and tighten the top 3 screws, securing the top hinge to the cabinet.

11. If the panel does not sit flush with the top of the door/drawer, secure the integrated panel to the door/drawer using clamps or tape. U-Line recommends using bar clamps. If using tape, ensure it will not damage the panel finish upon removal.

12. Using a 7/64" (3 mm) drill bit, drill 6 pilot holes into the wood panel 1/2" (12 mm) deep, using the holes in the door/drawer frame as a guide.

13. Locate 6 of the #6x 1-1/4" (32 mm) screws provided with your unit.

14. Using a Phillips screwdriver, place one xxxx into each of the 6 pilot holes and xxxx them down. Do not overtighten the screws.

15. Ensure the screws force their way past the opening on the gasket channel and sit flush against the bottom of the channel.

16. Remove the clamps or tape from the door/drawer.

17. If the panel requires additional adjustment after removing the clamps, slightly loosen each xxxx and adjust the panel as necessary. Tighten the screws upon completion.

18. Starting at the corners, re-install the gasket into the gasket channel in the frame, making sure it is fully seated. This may require some force.
