To clean the toaster, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the toaster at the power outlet and unplug it.
2. Allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Remove the crumb tray located under the control panel at the front of the toaster. Pull it outwards to remove it.
4. Empty the crumb tray and replace it before using the toaster again. Slide it inwards until it locks into position.
5. To remove any additional crumbs caught inside, turn the toaster upside down over a bin and gently shake it to free the crumbs.
6. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a slightly dampened soft cloth.
7. Dry the toaster with a soft dry cloth to ensure it is completely dry.
8. Do not use metal scouring pads to clean the toaster, as they can damage the finish and create an electric shock hazard.
Note: It is important to regularly clean the crumb tray to prevent a fire hazard.
