To install the JABLOTRON JA-105 Series Wireless Magnetic Detector with 2 Universal Inputs, follow these steps:
1. Open the detector cover by pressing the cover tab.
2. xxxx the rear cover onto the desired location, ensuring that the cables can be properly routed through the rear plastic base. The cable length should not exceed 3 meters.
3. Attach the selected magnet (either the ferrite magnet or the neodymium ring magnet) to the moving part of the door or window using screws. The lower edge of the ferrite magnet should be at the same height as the lower edge of the detector. If using the ring magnet, use the special non-magnetic xxxx provided in the package.
4. Connect the wires from external contacts to the required terminals, if applicable.
5. Set the DIP switches according to your needs, referring to Table 3 in the manual for the correct settings.
6. Proceed with the control panel installation according to the control panel installation manual.
7. To enroll the detector into the system, go to the F-link software, select the required position in the Devices window, and launch the enrollment mode by clicking on the Enroll option. Insert the batteries (paying attention to the correct polarity) to transmit the enrollment signal. The detector occupies 2 positions, with each input having its own position. If the second position is occupied, it will be automatically overwritten.
8. Close the detector cover.
Note: The installation of this product should be performed by a trained technician with a valid certificate issued by an authorized distributor.
