To install the TRAN LED Power Supply QOM-eLED plus DMX-PS for exterior swimming pool use, please follow these steps:
1. Housing and Mounting Options:
- The QOM-eLED plus DMX-PS must be installed as shown in the manual.
- Ensure that the power supply is mounted securely and in a location where it is not likely to be contacted by non-electricians.
2. Wiring Installation:

- For exterior swimming pool installation, it is recommended to use an isolating low-voltage power supply with an ungrounded output, specifically evaluated for swimming pool use.
3. Swimming Pool Installation Regulations:
- In accordance with NEC680 regulations in the United States, the following requirements must be met:
- The distance from the bottom of the terminal box to the ground should be no less than 4 inches.
- The vertical distance to the water surface of the swimming pool should not be less than 8 inches.
- The horizontal distance to the water edge of the swimming pool should not be less than 48 inches.
4. Embedded Installation:
- For swimming pool installations, it is strongly suggested to use embedded installation to ensure swimmers' safety and avoid damage to the lights.
- Prepare a slot for implanting profiles on the mounting surface with suggested slot sizes of 0.95" in width and 0.98" in depth.
