To install the Strand 63025 RS232 Serial Interface, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the unit and check for any signs of shipping damage. Make sure two mounting screws are included.
2. Connect the Vision.Net Network Cable to the 9-pin connector at the back of the RS232 Interface. Refer to the provided pinout table for the correct wiring.
3. Insert the RS232 Interface into a standard deep rough-in box (not included) and secure it with the two supplied mounting screws.
4. Snap the faceplate into place.
Note: The RS232 Interface can be connected to a standard IBM-compatible computer using a one-to-one 9-pin serial cable up to 25 feet (7.5 meters) in length.
