To change the direction of rotation on the Makita DS4011 and DS5000 drills, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before making any adjustments.
2. Wait for the tool to come to a complete stop before changing the direction of rotation.
3. The switch trigger on the drill is reversible, providing either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation.
4. To start the tool in clockwise rotation, simply pull the lower part of the switch trigger. To start the tool in counterclockwise rotation, pull the upper part of the switch trigger.
5. Release the switch trigger to stop the tool.
Note: It is important to change the direction of rotation only when the tool is completely stopped to avoid damaging the tool.
